Hutchinson to consider $50,000 donation for Northwoods Park batting cages

Manana Hutchinson said the council will consider a $50,000 donation from the Hudson Hutchinson Junior League Baseball Association to purchase batting cages at Northwoods Park. “There is a donation that's coming forward from Hudson Hutchinson Junior League Baseball Association for $50,000, for the purchase of batting cages at Northwoods Park,” Hutchinson said.
Hutchinson said the Northwoods batting cage project will appear on the Aug. 11 agenda alongside other capital projects, and the donation will be one of the items the council reviews under new business or the consent agenda as appropriate. The manager asked residents to attend the meeting if they have questions about park projects.
