Scott Shaha, the district’s Executive Director of Safety and Security, told trustees that two additional campuses had undergone random intruder detection audits since the prior meeting and that those audits showed no findings. The update was provided as part of the Board’s Information Items on March 10, 2025.
Tom Dyar, Chief of Human Resources and General Counsel, briefed the Board on a package of policy revisions from Texas Association of School Boards (TASB) Policy Services aimed at keeping the Board Policy Manual aligned with legal and regulatory changes. The minutes note the review but record no formal action on those policy updates at this meeting.
