The Bland ISD Board of Trustees approved the 2025–2026 school calendar and the Texas Education Agency (TEA) Staff Development Minutes Waiver for the coming school year. Board member Trent Poe moved to approve the waiver and the calendar; both motions were seconded by Corey White and passed unanimously.
The board also reviewed and adopted (LOCAL) policy recommendations from TASB Policy Service as part of Update 124. Corey White moved to adopt the policies, seconded by Kendal Wright; the action carried unanimously. The minutes list the policies considered under Update 124 but do not include the full text of any LOCAL policy changes in the public minutes.
