"Lee County reviewed and approved the Report and it will be submitted to the Florida Department of Environmental Protection (FDEP) in advance of the November 1, 2024 deadline," Mr. Zordan reported. Staff also noted that Johnson Engineering attends the bi-monthly Lee County NPDES meetings and forwards minutes to the District Manager to keep the District apprised of regulatory developments. The Board discussed that stormwater ponds are expected to catch and retain runoff and are not held to the same standard as natural lakes.
