River Ridge CDD appoints Keith Merrill to fill vacant seat; Oath administered

The River Ridge Community Development District unanimously appointed Keith Merrill to fill the unexpired term for Seat 1 (term expires November 2026) after Mr. Schultz nominated Merrill and no other nominations were made. On motion by Mr. Schultz, seconded by Mr. Twombly, the appointment was approved.
Mrs. Adams, a notary, administered the Oath of Office to Mr. Merrill immediately after the vote. Mrs. Adams and District Counsel Tony Pires reviewed obligations for newly seated public officers, including required ethics training, Form 1 disclosure filing, the Sunshine Amendment and the Code of Ethics, and Form 8B for voting conflicts.
The Board also adopted Resolution 2025-01 electing officers (Bob Schultz as Chair; Terry Mountford as Vice Chair; Kurt Blumenthal, Robert Twombly and Keith Merrill as Assistant Secretaries) and removing James Gilman from office roles. The resolution was adopted on a motion by Mr. Blumenthal, seconded by Mr. Mountford, with all in favor.
