Commissioners move ahead with behavioral health contracts and vendor agreements

Sandy Walters presented the Behavioral Health Administration agenda and the Fayette County Board of Commissioners voted unanimously to place several HealthChoices and provider contracts on the county agenda.
The approved items include an amended and restated HealthChoices agreement with Carelon Health of Pennsylvania for $10,988.25 covering July 1–Dec. 31, 2026, and base contract agreements for FY2026–27 including Fayette Resources, Inc. at $286,413.00, The Reapeutic Early Intervention Services, LLC at $60,000.00, Therapy Connections, LLC at $53,000.00, and Western PA School for the Deaf at $4,000.00. Commissioners Harry Dutch Kaufman moved the motion and it passed unanimously with Commissioner Chairman Scott Dunn and Commissioner Vince Vicites voting yes.
Also listed for approval were professional services agreements including John M. Purcell, Esquire at $175 per hour and a communications contract with Ryan Ashton Communications, LLC at $309.75 per month. The board did not modify the contract amounts during the meeting. The items will appear for formal adoption on the commissioners’ agenda.
