Board approves amendment to real-estate contract after closed session
Summary
Following an executive session to consult with legal counsel, trustees approved an amendment and authorized administration to sign documents for a purchase and platting of land to be platted as Enchanted Hills Unit 7.
The Canutillo ISD Board met in executive session under Texas Government Code sections 551.071 and 551.072 to consult with counsel about a proposed amendment to a real-estate purchase and transaction involving a tract out of Lot 1, Block 48, Enchanted Hills Unit Six and portions of adjacent tracts (Laura E. Mundy Survey 2237). The matter concerned an amendment to the contract to effect platting as Enchanted Hills Unit 7.
After reopening the meeting at 9:22 PM, Mr. Steve Blanco summarized the closed-session discussion and the board moved to approve the amendment and to authorize district administration to sign the necessary documents. Trustee Martinez moved to approve and Mrs. Barnes seconded; the motion passed unanimously.
