The Caddo Mills ISD Board highlighted student and staff accomplishments during the 'Good Things' and recognitions portions of the meeting. Named honorees included High School Student Michael Ortiz and High School Employee Jacob Jarvis; Middle School Student Noah Power and Middle School Employee Melissa Swanson; Intermediate School Student Patrick Henderson and employee Angela Gress; Lee Elementary Student Henry Hodges and employee Melinda Crawford; Griffis Elementary Student Ava Simpson and employee Edie Milton.
The board noted several extracurricular achievements: Kamdyn Mathews finished fourth overall and earned a top-six placement in the UIL State Congress Tournament; the Fox Robotics Team 'Banana Blitz' was undefeated at the Farmersville VEX Competition, won the Design Award and qualified for the UIL State Championship and the Texas Region 2 Championship; intermediate school robotics teams are scheduled to attend the state competition. The minutes also record that Coach Anene reached his 200th career coaching victory.
