The Bryan ISD Board of Trustees approved the consent agenda Aug. 19 by unanimous vote. Trustee Leo Gonzalez II moved to approve the consent items and Vice President Felicia Benford seconded the motion.
Items on the consent agenda included meeting minutes from July 10 and July 15, the July 2024 purchasing report, 2024–25 memoranda of understanding between Bryan ISD and Snook ISD and College Station ISD for student enrollment at the Career and Technical Education Complex (CTEC), multiple Blinn College agreements for dual-credit and preparatory courses, and a Memorandum of Understanding with Texas A&M University for an educational psychology practicum. Several auxiliary and extracurricular items and an adjunct faculty agreement were also listed.
Board approval of the consent agenda bundled routine administrative items and interagency agreements so the district can implement dual-credit and CTEC enrollment arrangements for the 2024–25 school year.
