Adams Corner retail plan lacks stormwater and NPDES documentation, planting list flagged

Commission staff reviewed the Adams Corner E2-R land-development plan (Case #26046) for Adams Township and noted multiple missing items: an NPDES permit and a stormwater management plan were not included in the submission. Staff also flagged that the planting list includes species identified as Pennsylvania invasive species, a point the commission raised as a concern to ensure plantings comply with best practices and local standards.

The Planning Commission did not approve the plan at the Feb. 18 meeting; instead, staff comments were recorded and commissioners signaled that the missing environmental controls and permits must be supplied before the plan moves forward in the county review process. The motion later to release comments on major plans authorized circulation of these staff findings to the municipality for further action.
