Council approves reservoir cleaning contract with Deltex Diving Services

The Omak City Council voted unanimously to approve Resolution No. 34-2026, contracting with Deltex Diving Services to clean and inspect the city’s water reservoirs. Public Works Director Wayne Beetchenow said reservoirs should be cleaned every five to ten years and the estimated cost of the contract is $25,410, which is in the 2026 budget.
Member Steve Clark moved to approve the resolution and the motion carried without further discussion. Staff will coordinate scheduling for the cleaning and inspection work as part of routine water-system maintenance.
