The Omak City Council on April 6 unanimously approved Resolution No. 31-2026 to award a public-works contract to Cutter Rains, LLC to finish upgrading piping at the Stampede Arena and connect the work to a booster pump installed last year. Public Works Director Wayne Beetchenow said the project was included in the 2026 budget and estimated to cost $78,327.
Beetchenow told the Council the work will complete the system upgrade at the arena and link the new piping to the existing booster pump. Member Steve Clark moved to approve the resolution and the motion passed unanimously. The contract will proceed as budgeted; staff did not identify additional funding needs during the meeting.
