The Omak City Council approved a Public Works contract on March 16 to replace a mini‑split heating and cooling unit in the Headworks Building at the Wastewater Treatment Plant.
Public Works Director Wayne Beetchenow said the contract with Choice Heatpumps covers replacement of the mini‑split at the headworks facility. Member Mike Foth moved to approve Resolution 24‑2026, Member Steve Clark seconded, and council voted unanimously to approve the maintenance contract.
The work is a routine facilities maintenance item intended to preserve building systems at the treatment plant; staff will coordinate scheduling and contract execution with the vendor.
