The Omak City Council approved a memorandum of agreement on March 16 to relocate the Okanogan Valley Farmer's Market next to the Omak Visitor's Center and to set a park use fee.
Public Works Director Wayne Beetchenow summarized the MOA and said it includes relocation logistics and a park use fee. Member Mike Foth said the Infrastructure Committee reviewed the agreement and recommended approval; Member Steve Clark moved the resolution and Member Michelle Gaines seconded. The council voted unanimously to approve Resolution 26‑2026.
The MOA formalizes the market's new location next to the Visitor's Center and establishes terms for park use; staff will coordinate relocation logistics and necessary signage and permitting under the agreed terms.
