Wayne County held employee anniversary recognition at its March 12 meeting, honoring Elections Director Amy Christopher for five years of service and IT Generalist Corey Mahon for five years with the county. Chief Clerk Andrew M. Seder praised Christopher for managing difficult elections and serving as a regional leader to other elections directors.
Commissioner Brian W. Smith credited Christopher with handling significant election law changes under Act 77 and multiple court rulings. MIS Director Dennis Ford introduced Corey Mahon, noting Mahon is a certified cybersecurity professional who provides strong customer service. Commissioner Smith told Mahon, "It's incredibly meaningful to us that you work here in Wayne County."
