Canutillo ISD accepts board secretary resignation and appoints Cindy Zuniga

Canutillo ISD trustees on Jan. 29 accepted Trustee Lucy Borrego’s resignation from the officer position of board secretary and unanimously appointed Cindy Zuniga as the board’s new secretary.
The board first voted to accept the resignation from the officer role; the motion to accept was moved by Trustee Martinez and passed with all recorded trustees voting in favor. Trustee Martinez then nominated Cindy Zuniga to serve as board secretary; the nomination was seconded and carried unanimously (Barnes-Yes, Maldonado-Yes, Martinez-Yes, Ortega-Yes, Rodriguez-Yes, Zuniga-Yes). Trustee Borrego remains a member of the board but relinquished the secretary officer title.
