Board tables Swing Education item and defers LCAP monitoring goal discussion to Feb. 18

The Board voted on Feb. 4 to table item 9A‑6, a Professional Services Agreement with Swing Education Inc., to the next Board meeting. President Liliana Magana moved the tabling motion, which was seconded by Vice President Jennifer Gutierrez; the roll call shows three ayes and two abstentions (Ms. Marisol Madrigal Uribe and Mr. Carlos Cerdan), and the motion carried.
Earlier in the meeting staff pulled agenda item 7‑g, "Monitoring Goals, Actions and Resources for the 2025‑2026 Local Control and Accountability Plan (LCAP)," and the packet notes it will be brought back as a discussion item at the Feb. 18, 2026 meeting. Item 7‑g was specifically removed from the Feb. 4 consent/agenda and rescheduled at the Board's direction.
