The Board accepted completion of negative air setup and soot cleaning for fourteen classrooms in the D building at Montebello High School and ratified multiple abatement, mold‑remediation and interior repair agreements for district sites on Feb. 4.
Specific approvals included acceptance of Performance Abatement Services' work at Montebello High School and ratification of an agreement with Unlimited Environmental Inc. for abatement in the girls' restroom at Washington Elementary (agenda packet lists $17,000 plus a $1,700 owner's contingency, total not to exceed $18,700).
