Dr. Mark Skvama and Assistant Superintendent Horacio Perez presented an engraved gavel on behalf of the Board and Montebello Unified; a recognition video was played and representatives from associations and unions (Miguel Miranda, AMSA; Marisol Rivera, CSEA; Officer Juan Valle, MUSD POA) offered statements of appreciation.
In her remarks, Ms. Magana thanked her family, Montebello Unified employees, and colleagues for the opportunity to serve as Board President for the 2024–2025 school year and acknowledged the certificates and resolutions presented in recognition of her term.
