District reports mammogram clinics at multiple campuses; 11—13 mammograms performed across events

SHAC recorded mammogram clinic participation: Center High School had 16 appointments with 13 mammograms performed; Center Middle School had 15 appointments with 12 performed; an additional listing recorded 15 available, 12 made and 11 performed. CISD will continue hosting the screening service.
Joyce Permenter reported the districts partnership with the Ross Breast Center and summarized appointment and screening counts. She said, "There were 16 appointments available/scheduled at Center High School and 13 mammograms were performed." Permenter gave similar counts for Center Middle School and a third listing that showed 15 available with 11 performed.
Permenter said the district will continue to provide the mammogram service at campuses. The committee did not take formal action but recorded the participation numbers for the 2023-24 outreach effort.
