Board permits superintendent to continue stadium-lease talks after closed session

The Celina ISD Board of Trustees met in closed session Aug. 18 to discuss personnel, real property, safety and cybersecurity matters under Texas Government Code. Chair Jeff Gravley adjourned the meeting to closed session at 7:03 PM to consider matters including a stadium lease to outside entities and the Ramble Agreement.
When the board reconvened at 8:07 PM, Trustee Kelly Juergens moved to "allow Dr. Tom Maglisceau to continue to discussing stadium leases with outside entities," and Trustee Tracey Balsamo seconded the motion. The motion passed unanimously, with all seven trustees voting yea. The action authorizes the superintendent to continue negotiations; no lease terms or counterparties were disclosed in the meeting record.
