The Boquet Valley Central School District board completed several routine procedural actions during the meeting.
Early in the meeting the board approved the agenda and then voted to amend it to add discussion of the Lakeview handbook. The board approved the minutes of the Aug. 14 meeting as presented, approved financial items (9a–11), moved and approved CSE/CPSE/504 recommendations, and adopted the personnel consent agenda (12a–12u). Several motions were made, seconded and carried by voice vote or roll call where requested.
The board also moved into executive session twice. An earlier motion to enter executive session to discuss the medical, financial or employment history of a particular person or persons and potential real-property acquisition/sale/lease passed by voice vote; members anticipated returning in about an hour. Later in the meeting the board again moved into executive session for personnel matters, with the chair stating there would be no action after that session.
