Residents warn against consolidating schools, urge district to advance capital project

Commenters framed a capital project as an investment in community vitality, saying strong schools protect property values and attract families — and warning that chronic deferred maintenance would lead to higher costs later. Another speaker urged public outreach and transparency, asking the board for clear mitigation plans and data before advancing consolidation ideas.
