The Burleson Independent School District Board of Trustees held a special meeting on March 4, 2025, convening at 5:30 p.m. in the administration building board room. Mrs. Jerri McNair, board president, called the meeting to order, announced a quorum and listed the members present: Michael Ancy, Staci Eisner, Shawn Minor, Dallas Owen, Ryan Richardson and Pat Worrell.
President McNair announced the board would adjourn into closed session at 5:32 p.m. under Title 5, Chapter 551 of the Texas Government Code so the superintendent could present several items. The publicly listed closed-session topics included consideration of teacher and administrator employment and other personnel matters; Annual Texas Education Agency governance team training for the board and superintendent; deliberation of a negotiated contract for a prospective gift or donation; deliberation about the use of security personnel, devices or audits; deliberation regarding a student or student discipline; deliberation regarding real property; and consultation with the board’s attorney. The minutes record that the board reconvened into open session at 7:42 p.m. and that "There was no action to take on items this evening." The meeting then adjourned at 7:42 p.m.
