Staff reported they are completing a one-year follow-up to the Housing & Community Development audit. The original audit included four findings and recommendations; staff said one finding is complete and two are in progress. The committee was told the follow-up document will be presented at the next Audit Committee meeting for comment prior to transmission to the Mayor and Commission.
Committee members did not raise substantive questions about the follow-up during the update. Internal Auditor Hassemer indicated staff will bring the follow-up to the committee for review before it is finalized for the Mayor and Commission.
