Blair County approves CYF service and legal agreements for FY2026–27

A representative of Blair County Children, Youth and Families told the board on Aug. 6 that the agency seeks approval of a purchase of service agreement and a HIPAA business associate agreement covering July 1, 2026 through June 30, 2027. The presenter also requested approval of a legal services agreement with Thomas K. Hooper, Esquire, as dedicated legal counsel for case number 202629 at a rate of $135 per hour until final disposition.
"We're requesting approval for the fiscal year 26 27 purchase of service agreement and HIPAA business associates agreement between the county of Blair, Blair County children, youth, and families, and children aids program County for the period of 07/01/2026 through 06/30/2027," the presenter stated. The board moved and voted to approve both the service and HIPAA agreements and the legal services arrangement on the record.
