Committee members discussed continuing a pro shop operations subcommittee to help finalize a new operations contract. Committee members agreed the subcommittee should align its work with the city council task force, which staff said includes Chair Rick and council liaison Victor.
Staff (S5/Samantha) said the task force is meeting next week, interviews are expected in the next two weeks, and staff hopes to take a contract award to council in September. "We will hope to do interviews in the next 2 weeks thereafter, based on the task force review," Samantha said. Staff also reported there are two bids currently in for the pro shop contract.
