Chisum ISD board approves canvass of May 3 trustee election, swears in newly elected trustees

The motion to approve the canvass was made by Trustee Larry Rickman and seconded by Trustee Judd Oats; Trustees Dashielle Floyd, James Weems, Judd Oats, Matt Patterson and Larry Rickman voted in favor, and Trustees Travis Ball and Craig Burns were recorded as absent.
Following the canvass the board completed Certificates of Election and administered the Oath of Office to newly elected trustees. The minutes note the Certificate of Election was signed by the board president and the statement of officer oath was recorded; the minutes do not specify which trustees were newly elected by name in that line-item.
