At the May 5 meeting the Public Safety Committee reported Officer Conger has graduated and returned from the Iowa Law Enforcement Academy (ILEA). The committee also noted large increases in traffic due to a bridge project and that it is working with Iowa State University on possible traffic count studies.
The Public Works Committee reported discussions with Central Cable Contractors, Inc. on a rental agreement and scheduled a Zoom meeting with Strand & Associates on May 6 to begin planning the next wastewater facility project. No formal actions were taken; these items were reported as committee updates.
