At its Oct. 15 meeting the Edgewood ISD Board of Trustees approved the consent agenda—items A through K—in a single motion by Joseph Guerra, seconded by Michael Valdez. The board noted the items included monitoring reports, the Lone Star Governance quarterly tracker, the 2024–25 District Improvement Plan (pursuant to Texas Education Code 11.252(a)), adoption of the Texas College Bridge portion of the NROC Project, and procurement items.
The consent agenda also included approval to purchase Eureka Math TEKS Edition for third- and fourth-grade students from Great Minds for $39,498.00 using Title I funds, the 2025–2026 budget calendar, approval of vendors whose purchases may exceed $50,000, an extension of RFP 23-013 for operations supplies and equipment, the new district school attendance zone boundaries, and the Election Services Contract with the Bexar County Elections Administrator. The motion passed with all trustees recorded as voting yea.
