During the May 21 meeting, Fayette County commissioners approved a series of personnel actions across departments including resignations, ratified hires and promotions.
The board approved the resignation of Rhonda Wingrove (Custodial Worker I) effective April 23, 2026, ratified hires of Vincent Johnson, Noah King and Sean O’Brien as Part-Time Clerks at $12.00 per hour (effective April 21–23, 2026), and later recorded the resignation of Vincent Johnson effective May 11, 2026. The board also ratified hiring of Merrill Young-Lacich as a Part-Time Parks & Trails Worker at $12.00 per hour, approved Morgan Keteles’ promotion to Chief Clerk (PG 15, Step SR) at $25.53 per hour ($49,783.50 annually) effective May 4, 2026, accepted the retirement of Elsie Hartsek (Facility Coordinator), approved transfer of Deena Tarr to Facility Coordinator (CYS) at $13.81 per hour, and approved hiring of Heaven Grumm as Caseworker I at $24.04 per hour effective June 8, 2026. All motions were recorded as unanimous.
