At the Feb. 18 board meeting Superintendent Dr. Des Stewart presented College, Career and Military Readiness figures for the district’s 2023–24 cohort of 197 graduates. The district’s CCMR metric was reported at 64.97%, below the local goal of 70%; industry-based certifications were 42.13% (goal 50%) and Texas Success Initiative participation/completion was 35.53% (goal 36%).
Trustees were given the figures as part of the superintendent’s regular report; Stewart framed the numbers as targets the district will continue to pursue through career and technical education supports and counseling. The data were presented as cohort-level outcomes used to guide program and staffing priorities.
