Gainesville ISD hears 2023–24 Texas Academic Performance Report

The Gainesville Independent School District Board of Trustees heard a presentation of the Texas Academic Performance Report for the 2023–24 school year on Feb. 18. Dana Dudenhoeffer, executive director of curriculum and instruction, explained that the TAPR compiles student performance broken down by student groups, staff and program information and campus-level demographics.
Board members were given an overview of the report’s contents and uses for district planning and accountability. Dudenhoeffer noted the TAPR’s role in showing disaggregated outcomes (by ethnicity and socioeconomic status) and providing data the district uses to target supports and program adjustments going forward.
