County to pursue CDBG and CHIP housing grants; seeks administrative vendor for CHIP

Phil Johnson presented Resolution #131-26 authorizing entry into a State of Ohio Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) grant agreement for neighborhood revitalization; the village of Jenera will have about 1 mile of sidewalks replaced under the program. The board approved the action 3-0.
Phil also presented Resolution #132-26 authorizing preparation and submission of an application for the Community Housing Impact and Preservation (CHIP) PY2026 grant program and, at HRPC's request, accepting a proposal from Great Lakes Community Action Partnership to provide CHIP grant administration services. The board approved moving forward; staff will complete the application and return with final contract details if the grant is awarded.
