Gatesville ISD reports 12,728 summer meals and $3,488 program deficit

Assistant Superintendent for Finance LeighAnn Goodwin presented the district’s 2024 Summer Feeding report at the Oct. 21 Gatesville ISD Board meeting, reporting the district served 12,728 meals during a 38-day period in June and July and recorded a deficit of $3,488 for the program year.
Goodwin said the 2024 total was down 350 meals from the prior year and presented the program’s financial summary to the board during the information items portion of the agenda. The report was provided for board review under information items; no board action was required.
