Board recognizes DAEP/WINGS para-professionals for student support

During the Oct. 21 Gatesville ISD Board meeting, Superintendent Barrett Pollard and nominator Pam Williams honored para-professionals Chris Morrall and James Strong for their work with DAEP and WINGS students.
Pam Williams said of Morrall, “Chris Morrall has a remarkable ability to build genuine relationships with these students and help them find success.” Williams detailed Morrall’s role in facilitating group sessions and supporting transitions back to home campuses. Williams also praised James Strong for his dedication to students and building maintenance, saying Strong helps ensure students “have what they need to be successful.” The board acknowledged the nomination during the staff spotlight portion of the agenda.
