Superintendent Barrett Pollard recognized Bryson Stevens at the Gatesville ISD Board meeting on Oct. 21 for operating a student-run Sno-Cone business and for his involvement in school activities.
Jr. High Principal Susie Penrod said, “Bryson stands out as one of the most impressive students at Gatesville Junior High. As a young entrepreneur, Bryson has successfully built his own Sno-Cone business, which frequently appears at school events.” Penrod credited his work ethic, goal-setting and kindness as reasons the district singled him out for the spotlight. The board offered the recognition during the student spotlight portion of the agenda.
