Highway official reports one bid for storm-damaged Big Springs building; Werner finishes Highway 30 work

Assistant Highway Superintendent Kristian Fusilier updated the board on Road Department operations, reporting one bid has been received for repairs or replacement of the Big Springs building damaged earlier this summer. Fusilier said he is awaiting two more bids before bringing a recommendation back to the board.
Fusilier also reported that Werner Construction has completed the Highway 30 project and is working to clean the asphalt plant ahead of the county fair. No dollar amounts for the Big Springs building bids were recorded in the minutes at this meeting.
