Gainesville ISD board orders May 3 trustee election; filing window and costs announced

Superintendent Dr. Des Stewart told the board that candidate packets were available beginning Jan. 6 at the district administration building. The stated filing window opened Jan. 15, 2025, and closes Feb. 14, 2025 at 5:00 p.m.
Trustee Phil Neelley moved to order the election; Dan Doss seconded the motion. The board approved the order unanimously, 6-0.
