The Fabens ISD Board of Trustees on July 16 voted 6–0 to add, revise or delete local policies as provided in the Texas Association of School Boards (TASB) Localized Policy Update 125.
Aide Polanco presented the second reading and read the local policy language affected by Update 125, which covers policy areas such as officers and officials, board internal organization, advisory committees, academic achievement, school safety transfers and attendance-for-credit rules. Orlando Flores moved and Greg Spence seconded to consider the TASB-recommended local policy changes; the motion passed unanimously.
