Board moves to add new superintendent as authorized signer and holds closed session on personnel

At the Nov. 18 meeting Gladewater ISD trustees approved a resolution to add the incoming superintendent, recorded in the minutes as Mrs. Patty, as an authorized signer on the district's financial accounts.
CFO Candy Keller presented the resolution; Trustee Jeff Cook moved to add Mrs. Patty as an authorized signer and Trustee Ross Morgan seconded. The motion passed 7-0. Later the board convened in closed session at 6:54 p.m. under Texas Government Code §551.074 to discuss personnel matters and returned to open session at 7:24 p.m. The public minutes do not record personnel deliberations or any personnel votes taken in closed session.
Following the return to open session, Trustees adjourned the meeting with a unanimous vote recorded on the motion to adjourn.
