Director of Student Services Jennifer Hering told the board Oct. 16 that the district received a perfect LEA Determination score of 30 out of 30 with no findings. She reported that social workers led SAEBERS training and that all students will be screened during October.
Hering also described partnerships, including SPEED Preschool and Aunt Martha’s, which will support targeted social-emotional groups at Columbia Central. The report was accepted as informational; the board did not take formal action on the student-services items during the meeting.
