During the public-comment portion of the July 7 meeting, Connie Lundin of Cottage Grove Ave. thanked the village and Public Works for filling a hole on the Boulevard, saying she "appreciate[s] you taking care of that."
Brenda Thunherst, also of Cottage Grove Ave., raised two concerns: an unresolved fence issue for which she said she had filed a FOIA and an open junction box at the southeast corner of Steger Road and Union Avenue. Thunherst told the board, "I am afraid someone is going to fall in it." Mayor Joyce asked Director of Public Infrastructure Dave Toepper to have someone inspect the site.
