The Grundy Center City Council approved Resolution 2025-10 on March 17, 2025 to authorize street closures for Felix Grundy Days scheduled July 11-12, 2025. Lamp moved and Mcdonald seconded the resolution; the motion passed four ayes.
Kate Appel, Felix Committee Chair, described changes to the closure plan, "including additional space for the car show on Friday evening." Mel Bowen specified that the car show will use F Avenue from 6th to 8th Street, 7th Street from the GCMU driveway south to the F Avenue intersection, and the Community Center parking lot.
