The Grandview ISD Board of Trustees on Aug. 25 adopted the district's 2025–26 budget, following a vote taken during the board's regular meeting. Board member Keith Miller moved to adopt the budget; Brad Collins seconded, and "The motion passed."
The vote formalizes the district's spending plan for the 2025–26 school year after the board earlier approved final amendments to the 2024–25 budget. The meeting record shows the board debated no further amendments before adopting the new budget.
The adoption comes as part of a packet of fiscal actions the board approved in the same meeting, including setting the combined tax rate and approving policy revisions. Board President Clint Ishmael presided; district staff member Eucie Shackleford is recorded as the presenter of the 2024'125 amendments that preceded the new-budget adoption. The board entered and exited an executive session during the meeting and adjourned at 7:22 p.m.
