Goose Creek CISD approves three teacher hires and names communications director

Trustee James "Jim" Campisi moved and Trustee Mercedes Renteria seconded a motion to approve three teacher elections subject to assignment and placement on the teacher hiring scale: Deidre JohnBaptiste (assigned to Bowie Elementary School), Lucia Taylor (assigned to Ashbel Smith Elementary School), and Cornelius Wilson (assigned to Goose Creek Memorial High School). The motion passed with all six trustees present voting in favor.
