Steger updates: Susan Lane closeout, 33rd & Lewis kickoff, Five-Star Energy and Surf Internet work underway

Director of Public Infrastructure Dave Toepper reported that Five-Star Energy has a few phase-one houses left and will return in about a month to begin phase two. Toepper added that Surf Internet crews are running fiber from the east side of town toward the west, signaling continued broadband expansion through the village.
Administrators did not provide cost details or contract amounts at the meeting; trustees were briefed on schedules and coordination with contractors.
