Community Center Director Diana Rossi honored with proclamation ahead of July retirement

Mayor William Joyce presented a proclamation to Community Center Director Diana Rossi recognizing her retirement effective July 1. Clerk Joseph Zagone read the proclamation and Trustee Stewart moved to enter it into the public record; Trustee Perchinski seconded and the motion passed unanimously.
Rossi addressed the board and attendees, thanking them for the opportunity to serve. "It has truly been my pleasure to work for everyone here. I have loved my job and loved all the people. I thank you very much for giving me this opportunity all of my life. I can't thank you enough. I am just retiring, I am not leaving," Rossi said.
Trustees acknowledged Rossi's years of service to the community and the Community Center reported roughly 1,350 visits between May 20 and June 16, including new programming such as a Cartwheel Club for children.
