"Just for everyone in the audience, Ordinance No. 1335 was the gasoline tax we talked about at the last Committee of the Whole Meeting and Board Meeting. What this puts in effect is up to 3 cents per gallon," Mayor Joyce said before the roll-call vote. Trustee Perchinski moved to adopt the ordinance and Trustee Trotier seconded; all trustees voted aye.
The board did not attach additional qualifying language in the recorded discussion; the ordinance was approved on voice/roll-call and will be processed per municipal procedures for implementation. The item followed reports from staff about ongoing capital and infrastructure projects and was presented under unfinished business as the board acted to finalize the measure.
