Groesbeck ISD’s board approved its consent agenda during a Nov. 4 special meeting that opened at 6:00 p.m. Board member Jason Milstead moved to approve the consent agenda; Stephen Bradley seconded and the motion carried unanimously.
The agenda items listed by the board included: A. Budget and Amendment(s); B. Quarterly Investment Report; C. Texas Education Agency Foreign Exchange Student Waiver for 2024-25, 2025-26, and 2026-27; and D. Donation(s). The printed minutes record those items as presented on the consent agenda for approval.
The board also formally recognized October Teachers of the Month from each campus: Chantay Dunn (H. O. Whitehurst), Courtney Truett (Enge-Washington Intermediate School), Marcus McGruder (Groesbeck Middle School) and Maya Sample (Groesbeck High School). The recognitions were listed immediately before the consent motion in the meeting minutes.
